Kansas Athletics’ 39th annual Late Night in the Phog event on October 6, 2023, at the historic Allen Fieldhouse. This annual event kicked off the start of the men’s and women’s basketball season and gave fans a first look at the 2023-24 Jayhawks.
OUR ROLE
To further build upon the success of the 2022 event, Costante Group was entrusted with the task of envisioning and executing an extraordinary fan experience for recruits, fans, sponsors, and players during the latest rendition of Kansas Athletics’ Late Night in the Phog. Most notably, there was a deliberate, intensified focus on incorporating more dynamic player personality activations and fan engagement. This strategic approach aimed to deeply engage a diverse and enthusiastic audience. Throughout the project, Costante Group maintained a steadfast and strategic consulting approach, demonstrating flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of KU Athletics. Above all, they assumed full accountability for the final product, effectively narrating the compelling brand story of KU Athletics, with player personalities taking center stage in this year’s exceptional experience.

- Crafted a rundown encompassing all necessary logistical and digital elements
- Aided in the selection of a suitable artist for the event
- Collaborated with crucial Kansas Athletics personnel and designated staff to streamline the final event plan and execution strategy
- Oversaw and orchestrated the 2023 event, leveraging the resources of both Kansas Athletics and the Costante Group team
