GCSAA in Lawrence, KS, has been the leading professional association for the men and women who manage and maintain golf courses in the United States and worldwide since its founding in 1926. The association offers education, advocacy, and career support to more than 18,000 individual members in more than 72 countries.
OUR ROLE
Costante Group was hired by GCSAA to produce and direct the live events for the Virtual 2021 Golf Industry Show (GIS) from the GCSAA headquarters in Lawrence, KS. The GIS is the largest educational conference and trade show in the turfgrass management industry with over 9,300 members in attendance. We produced 14 live events over three days! Our goal was to deliver an authentic experience by utilizing a user-friendly virtual platform that provided the ability to engage attendees through two-way communication (interaction).

- Designed a virtual platform and studio that allowed the hosts/speakers the opportunity to view and engage with their audience
- Promoted two-way communication and incorporated engagement strategies that immersed attendees into the event
- Developed rundowns, scripts, and other communication documents
- Facilitated programming rehearsal and event execution
- Oversaw A/V company and technical production aspects
- Coordinated, developed, and implemented digital elements
